What’s a Hodag?

 

A mythical beast native to the forests of northern Wisconsin, it was discovered in 1893 by lumberjack, and famed raconteur, Eugene Simeon Shepard.  After much struggle, he captures it and travels to country fairs charging fairgoers a dime for a quick peek.  He becomes an instant sensation and newspapers from far and wide cover the story.
